What happens if musicians don’t stick to the score? If instead of playing their instruments the usual way, everything is permitted? In NOMOZART, six instrumentalists and countless musical styles meet and emerge transformed. Choreographer Maged Mohamed creates a colorful and animated stage show where the musicians are everything – except Mozart.

In September 2017 NOMOZART, the fourth production of LUCERNE FESTIVAL Young Performance, premiered in Lucerne. In March 2018, it enchanted audiences at Philharmonie Luxembourg and in Bern, Zurich, Zug, Verscio, and St. Gallen, Switzerland.
